Frequently connecting to multiple servers or computer workstations over a Remote Desktop Connections, introduces problems of trying to remembering various connections details, credentials and settings.
You'll be glad to know that there is a free tool available Microsoft that will help you to store and have all this information available, to help you to effortlessly connect and manage the connections to your multiple servers. Remote Desktop Connection Manager.
Installing Windows Remote Desktop Connection Manager
Remote Desktop Connection Manager (RDCM) helps you to manage multiple remote desktop connections. It is useful for managing server labs or large server farms where you need regular access to each machine such as automated checkin systems and data centers. It is similar to the built-in MMC Remote Desktops snap-in, but more flexible.
RDCM is a free download and is available from the Microsoft Website.

The installations instructions are available on the website, but essentially it is as simple as download and install.
Once installed the RDCM will be available in your Program Files. You can then Add Your Server Groups and all your server definitions etc.
RDCM will enable you to store all your Logon Credentials, Gateway Settings, Connection Settings etc.
Once you have completed building your server tree, you can save the details to a rdg file which is basically an XML file which will contain all the settings, which you can pass among workstations, for ease of set up.
You need to be mindful of the information stored in this file for security reasons, because most of the information is stored as clear text! If this file were to get into the wrong hands all your server connection details are exposed.
