I wanted to update my LibreOffice application suite on my Ubuntu desktop. The news on 5 August 2015 that The Document Foundation (TDF) announced the release of Libre Office 5.0.1, the first minor release of the LibreOffice 5.0 family, which includes a number of fixes over the major release. I figured it was a good time to upgrade to version 5.
